9/10/23: Thank you Michael Hamilton for three union related issue post: One is a step B. (Here) (Here) The issues are quoted: "Issue Statement (Block 15 on PS Form 8190):
Did Management violate Articles 3, 14, 15, 41 of the National Agreement, and Handbooks M-39 and M-41 via Article 19 by providing auxiliary assistance in the office prior to the begin tour of [grievant name] on route [route number] at the [Post Office/Branch] on [date/date range]. If so, what is the appropriate remedy?
The Step B decision on another is: ISSUE: Did management violate the terms and provisions of the National Agreement (NA) under but not limited to Article 41, Handbooks M-39, and M-41 via Article 19 when they failed to allow the grievant to perform the duties on his assignment, which he was the successful bidder as posted? If so, what is the appropriate remedy? DECISION: Based upon the information contained within the file, the Step B Dispute Resolution Team (DRT) has resolved the dispute. The DRT agrees management violated Article 41 and is therefore directed to comply, as further explained below. The grievant shall not be prohibited from performing the duties of their assignment as outlined in Article 41.
